Wellness
You sit back while the sleeves inflate from your feet up, and heavy, swollen legs finally get some help.
What It Is
You’re the one who stays upright all day so everybody else can sit down. Twelve-hour shifts, long drives, the flight home, the standing you never counted. Which is why your legs are the last thing you take care of, and exactly why you’re reading this.
The Normatec Pro is a pneumatic compression system. You settle into a chair and zip into sleeves that wrap each leg from foot to hip. An air pump does the rest. Nothing pierces skin. Nothing gets hot.
The sleeves inflate in sections, starting at your feet and working up. Each section pulses, holds, then releases before the next one takes over. It copies the pump your legs use when you walk, moving fluid up and out instead of letting it settle around your ankles.
Pressure is adjustable. We start it low.
What It Helps
Compression doesn’t fix what’s causing your pain. It makes the days around the fix a lot less miserable, which is why it sits inside a plan instead of standing in for one.
What A Session Looks Like
1
You sit back and zip into the sleeves. Shoes off, clothes on.
2
Air fills each section from the feet up. Firm, like a hand squeezing, then it lets go. Too much? We turn the pressure down on the spot.
3
The wave rolls up and repeats. Legs come out lighter, and we spend the rest of the hour on the cause.
Why It Works
Legs that feel lighter than when you walked in.
Less puffiness after long days upright.
Soreness that doesn’t own tomorrow morning.
Twenty quiet minutes that cost you nothing to try.

Your first visit starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a treatment off a menu. Normatec Compression is used when the evaluation says it is the right tool for what is driving your symptoms, and it is delivered one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full hour.
Amplify Physical Therapy and Wellness is in network with BCBS PPO and Medicare, and out of network with Aetna and United Healthcare. There is also a cash-based option with the price agreed up front. We check your benefits before your first visit so you know the cost before you commit.
Most patients feel meaningful change within 4 to 6 visits. Your plan moves through the four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, so there is a defined endpoint rather than an open-ended run of appointments.
