We watch you move and find the cause.
Services
One full hour with Dr. Moy, finding why it hurts before anyone hands you a sheet of exercises.
What It Is
Physical therapy is treatment for the parts that move you: muscles, joints, nerves. For most muscle and joint problems it is the first thing worth trying, well before injections and surgery. In Illinois you can start without a referral.
It begins with a cause-first evaluation. Dr. Moy watches you bend, reach, step, and load, then finds the thing that is actually failing. The sore spot and the cause are often two different places, which is why the sore spot keeps coming back.
Then the four phases: Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent. Calm it down, get the movement back, rebuild strength under real load, keep it from returning. You’re the one everyone else calls when something breaks. This is the hour you finally spend on yourself.
No referral needed in Illinois
What It Helps
Pain that keeps returning is usually a body compensating for something. We go find that something.
What A Session Looks Like
1
We watch you move and find the cause.
2
Hands-on work, then loading you can tolerate. It shouldn’t hurt to get better.
3
You leave with the plan, the timeline, and today’s homework.
Why It Works
You know what’s actually wrong.
A first thing to try, not a last resort.
Strength that keeps the relief.
A plan with an endpoint, not endless visits.

Questions, Answered
Your first visit starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a treatment off a menu. Physical Therapy is used when the evaluation says it is the right tool for what is driving your symptoms, and it is delivered one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full hour.
Amplify Physical Therapy and Wellness is in network with BCBS PPO and Medicare, and out of network with Aetna and United Healthcare. There is also a cash-based option with the price agreed up front. We check your benefits before your first visit so you know the cost before you commit.
Most patients feel meaningful change within 4 to 6 visits. Your plan moves through the four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, so there is a defined endpoint rather than an open-ended run of appointments.
