Services
Everything else presses down on tissue that feels glued in place. Cupping lifts it instead.
What It Is
You already know the spot. Between the shoulder blades, along the low back, down the outside of a thigh. It feels glued down, and pressing on it only helps while somebody is pressing.
Cupping does the opposite of pressing. A cup goes on the skin, the air inside is drawn out, and gentle suction lifts the skin and the tissue underneath away from the muscle below. You feel a firm pull, not a pinch.
That lift makes a little space where layers were stuck together, and draws fresh blood into the area. Sometimes the cups stay put over one spot. Sometimes Dr. Moy glides them along the muscle, or asks you to move while they’re on, so the tissue learns to slide again.
The round marks fade. They aren’t bruises.
What It Helps
You’re the one holding everyone else together, carrying all of it across your shoulders. That tightness is a treatable problem, not your new normal.

They sit a few minutes, or glide along the muscle. Say the word and the suction eases.

Then we move it while it’s loose. Round marks fade in a few days. Nothing is bruised.
Why It Works
Tight areas that finally give.
Deep tension eased without deep pressure.
Room to move before the work begins.
Something that still helps on sore days.

Your first visit starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a treatment off a menu. Cupping Therapy is used when the evaluation says it is the right tool for what is driving your symptoms, and it is delivered one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full hour.
Amplify Physical Therapy and Wellness is in network with BCBS PPO and Medicare, and out of network with Aetna and United Healthcare. There is also a cash-based option with the price agreed up front. We check your benefits before your first visit so you know the cost before you commit.
Most patients feel meaningful change within 4 to 6 visits. Your plan moves through the four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, so there is a defined endpoint rather than an open-ended run of appointments.
