You walk the clinic floor a few times. Your shoes, your normal pace, no audience but Dr. Moy.
Services
You have taken a million steps and nobody has ever watched one, which is exactly why the same spot keeps hurting.
What It Is
Most people never think about walking. Then something shifts. A hip that aches by the end of the block. A knee that only complains going downhill. A limp you catch in a store window and don’t recognize.
Gait analysis is a close look at how you actually walk. Feet, ankles, knees, hips, spine, and posture all work as one chain. Dr. Moy watches stride length, timing, balance, and where the load lands on every step, then finds the link that is doing someone else’s job.
You’re the one who walks it off. That instinct got you through the last year, and it’s also why nobody has looked at the pattern yet. The spot that hurts is often not the spot causing it, and one hour of somebody actually watching is how you find out which is which.
Your own shoes, your own pace
What It Helps
Pain that keeps returning to the same spot is often a pattern problem, not a tissue problem.

He watches from the front, the side, and behind, then checks the joints and muscles that explain what he saw.
3
He shows you the one thing to change first, and you practice it before you leave.
Why It Works
You finally know why it’s always the same side.
Walking stops costing you extra energy.
The injury that kept coming back has a reason.
Curbs, stairs, and uneven ground feel steadier.

Your first visit starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a treatment off a menu. Gait Analysis is used when the evaluation says it is the right tool for what is driving your symptoms, and it is delivered one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full hour.
Amplify Physical Therapy and Wellness is in network with BCBS PPO and Medicare, and out of network with Aetna and United Healthcare. There is also a cash-based option with the price agreed up front. We check your benefits before your first visit so you know the cost before you commit.
Most patients feel meaningful change within 4 to 6 visits. Your plan moves through the four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, so there is a defined endpoint rather than an open-ended run of appointments.
